We're in Calgary! Five of us flew up today and three of us *drove* and arrived this morning. We spent the early part of the day checking out Olympic Park and the contest site - check out the pictures!

Days until the competition, and we're still working! The first video is a bunch of flight tests of us trying to tweak the heli to carry all the extra weight. The second is a full flight with all of the onboard equipment.

Today marked the maiden voyage of our primary aerial vehicle. We couldn't christen her because Daniel forgot the champagne, which in hindsight is probably for the best. Here are some videos of Curtis flying our XCell 60 gasser.

Footage of the un-believable Curtis Youngblood flying. In this clip, Curtis sends the helicopter about 900 ft up in the air, above the clouds, kills the engine, and auto-rotates it all the way down to his feet. WOW!
